Located at the Crane Old School, a beautiful red-brick former parochial school on 2nd Street north of Girard Ave., Pig Iron Theatre Company's two studio/rehearsal spaces are excellent for theatre/dance rehearsals, and suitable for a wide variety of other activities including photo shoots, special events, and fitness instruction.

There are two studios available for rent:

Studio One: 1280 sq. ft. (32' X 40'), natural light, high ceilings, wood flooring, grid, two lighting settings, heat/AC.

Studio Two: 970 sq. ft (44' X 22'), basement, padded floor laid over hard linoleum, ceilings approx. 8", heat/AC

Included with rental: Kitchen access, bathrooms, shower, use of lounge space.

The studios are 3.5 blocks away from the Girard Station on the Market-Frankford line, and are also immediately accessible via the Girard Ave. Trolley.  The studios are also located about a 10-minute walk from the new Super Fresh at 2nd and Girard, as well as Johnny Brendas, Kung Fu Necktie, Paesano's, and the Piazza at Schmidt's.

This facility is the home of the Pig Iron School for Advanced Performance Training, a two-year program in ensemble-devised performance administered by Pig Iron Theatre Company.
