Hidden in the Stacks

A month ago, this cohort of students traveled to Bethlehem, PA to observe firsthand a city that had been anchored by its steel mill for 100 years only to find the need to reinvent itself once the factory shut down nearly 20 years ago. They have built their observations into a poetic work of performance, noting the relationship between space, structure, economics, people, the legacy of what once was and the construction of what will be. There will be additional performance offerings of work created throughout the fall semester.
